Age Plus 7 Divided 2

The Rule defined:

Information technology is mostly socially adequate for one to be romantically involved with someone who's age is at least half your historic period plus seven years.

The Facts Are These

Some interpret the rule such that if you lot are younger, y'all double your years, and then subtract vii. This is mathematically inconsistent. The consistent method is to subtract seven years from your age, then multiply by 2.

At age 14, the rule states that both people must be the aforementioned age.

Elijah Muhammad (1897-1975) said that the ideal historic period of a man'due south wife was half his age, plus seven.
